---------- CrossStitch Font Demo ---------- ©1991 Andre Page This font demo package contains samples of a new font called "CrossStitch". I designed it to look like a needlepoint font. It can be used with Brad Schenk's "Stitchery" program to create very nice cross stitch patterns. There are 3 versions of this font. CrossStitch1 is a simpler style font in sizes 16, 32, 48, 64, 80 and 96. CrossStitch2 is a more ornate version in sizes 48, 80 & 96. CrossStitch3 is a four color ColorFont version of CrossStitch2 that simulates two colors of thread in a cross stitch pattern. It comes in sizes 48, 80 & 96. So the complete set is 12 fonts total and fills an entire disk. The full set of fonts includes the COMPLETE Amiga character set, including all international characters. The fonts in this demo version are CrossStitch1 size 64, CrossStitch2 size 80 and CrossStitch3 size 80. There is also an example picture of each font in the different sizes and a sample picture of "Home Sweet Home" in the size 96 color font that shows how they can be used. To use these fonts you need to assign your fonts to the directory where you un-arc them to. Example - Assign fonts: df1:XStitchDemo or use DeluxePaint's font requester and type in the name of the directory they are in. Don't forget to run the "ColorText" program before using the color font version. These demo fonts are slightly crippled to encourage registration. The characters Ww, Xx, Yy & Zz contain the address to send to for the complete font set instead of the letters W,X,Y,&Z. I also left out the international characters to conserve space.
